Plant starts, also known as seedlings, are young plants that are grown from seed and nurtured until they are ready to be transplanted into gardens. This Cut-Flower Collection includes 11 tried-and-true plant varieties that have been carefully selected so you can harvest flowers from your backyard and create your own bouquet’s this summer. As part of your order, you will also receive a planting layout, flower descriptions, and harvesting instructions.
The Plant Starts Cut-Flower Collection will include focal, filler, spike, and foliage plant varieties so you can build bountiful bouquets all summer long. The Collection will include a mixture of the following plant varieties in various colors: (6) Cosmos; (4) Strawflower; (4) Celosia; (6) Statice; (8) Snapdragon; (8) Zinnia; (2) Marigold; (2) Dahlia; (4) Basil; (2) Greek Oregano; and (2) Lemon Balm. These plants are hard-to-find varieties and aren’t typically found at your local plant nursery. Some of the zinnia, snapdragon, and celosia plants in this collection are RARE because I source my seeds from flower breeders who specialize in creating new flowers!! Plant starts can be picked-up from 12 Forster Road, Rochester, MA. Pick-up is between May 8th through May 10th and pick-up date and time can be selected once the item is added to your cart. Your collection will be placed under a purple umbrella at our flower stand.
