Plant starts, also known as seedlings, are young plants that are grown from seed and nurtured until they are ready to be transplanted into gardens. This Cut-Flower Collection includes 9 tried-and-true plant varieties that have been carefully selected so you can harvest flowers from your backyard and create your own bouquet’s this summer. As part of your order, you will also receive a Cut-Flower Grow Guide that was specifically tailored for these plant varieties. The Grow Guide will help you from start to finish: from building your own cut flower garden to harvesting your flowers. Harvesting flowers as a home gardener can be a rewarding experience, showcasing the fruits of your labor and enhancing your living space.

Plant starts can be picked-up from Rochester, MA or delivered to local areas only. We will send an email 1 week prior to pick-up/drop-off with available pick-up/drop-off dates and hours.

Your Plant Starts Cut-Flower Collection will include focal, filler, spike, and foliage plant varieties that are necessary to build your own bouquets - all of which are discussed in more detail in the Grow Guide. The Collection will include the following plant varieties in various colors: (6) Cosmos; (4) Strawflower; (6) Celosia; (6) Statice; (6) Snapdragon; (8) Zinnia; (4) Rudbeckia - Sahara; (4) Basil; and (4) Mountain Mint. These plants are hard-to-find varities and aren’t typically found at your local plant nursery. There are limited quantities available.
